In July of 2010 he helped create the Belly & Brain marketing concept with top agency Hooper Galton & EGS and subsequently launched his first TV marketing campaign – a series of commercials for Just-Eat airing on satellite and terrestrial channels that was shortlisted for best consumer response award by Thinkmedia.In the past few years he has also been involved with the senior management team at Just-Eat, securing over £10.5 million in VC funding from Index ventures. Ash, with his new digital marketing team, forged ahead to make Just-Eat a Top 10 Hitwise site and a Top 100 Techcrunch company in Europe, growing orders 210% year on year and prompting an increase in brand recognition from 6% to 15%.His work has been recognized with several nominations and awards throughout the digital world and he is well respected among his peers, and has appeared on several round-tables and marketing debates. Earlier in his career he helped make Shoeimage.com a finalist for Best E-Trading Company in the B2C Category by E-Commerce Awards and in 2007 his re-launch of venues.org.uk gained recognition as one of the 101 most useful web sites by The Independent newspaper group, as well as securing the company’s largest advertising deal. Most recently, his Belly & Brain iPhone game reached over 150 thousand downloads, making it one of the top ten most downloaded applications and reaching a number 3 position in the free apps charts as well as being shortlisted by the webby awards for the best app.
